Recycling Disposal – General Information
Every Wonder How Recycling Works?
Metro has created a recycling disposal video that follows paper, aluminum, steel, plastic and glass through the recycling process.
Gresham Sanitary Services – residential recycling disposal will provide you with one Curby recycling bin for glass only and a blue recycling cart for all other recycling materials.
Place your garbage, recyclables and yard debris at curbside by 6:00 am on your collection day. When preparing your garbage, please follow the guidelines on our Container Guidelines and Garbage Disposal Guidelines pages.
Please use your Curby bins for your recycling disposal. They are a signal to us that you have recyclables to be picked up.
Prepare and sort your recyclables according to the instructions on the Preparing Recyclables page. We will not collect recyclables that are contaminated with other materials or garbage.
The Curby bins belong to Gresham Sanitary Service, so please leave them at your house if you move.
